Paul Squires has lived and worked in the Whitsundays since 1989.

He has diverse interests which include preventative health, health screening, family medicine, skin cancer detection and treatment (including surgery), men’s health (including performing vasectomy) women’s health (including IUD insertion), diving medicine (including commercial and recreational dive medicals) and travel medicine.

He is a Visiting Medical Officer at Proserpine hospital for anaesthetics .

He has an interest in medical education (undergraduate and post graduate) and often teaches / supervises medical students and GP registrars, and is an examiner for the FRACGP.

He is an associate lecturer for James Cook University.
